Michael graduated from Saint Mary’s University with an MBA and has received certificates in Corporate Finance from Rothman and Mergers and Acquisitions from Wharton. He has also completed the Mastery of Negotiation program from Cornell and the High-Performance Negotiation from Haskayne. With life-long experience in corporate consolidations and M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions), Mike has an intrinsic understanding of the strategies used on the buy-side of a transaction. Mike was a co-founder of Canadian Orthodontic Partners - the largest orthodontic focused DSO and the first in Canada. In recent years, Mike’s passion and focus have become creating value and ensuring fair distribution to practice owners. He looks forward to using his expertise and knowledge to maximize your value in your transition out of practice ownership.

John is the CEO and Founder of the Thrive Group of Companies. He is responsible for leading Thrive’s overall operations, including strategic planning, investment decisions, capital commitments, and private fundraising. John has established Thrive Healthcare Properties with the goal of democratizing high-quality real estate investment opportunities for Healthcare professionals. He has been instrumental in leading Thrive Healthcare Properties emergence as one of the leaders in consolidation of Healthcare facilities in Canada. In addition to being a seasoned real estate investor, Dr. John McManaman is an Orthodontist. He is the founder and serves as Chief Orthodontic Officer and board member of Canadian Orthodontic Partners, a national orthodontic service organization which owns and operates multiple Docbraces practices across the country. He and his team are building long-term partnerships with their valued investors, proudly providing investment opportunities, on-going passive income and wealth creation, grounded in the stable healthcare real estate sector. John directs and is a major co-investor in Thrive Healthcare Properties. John holds a Master of Science (Orthodontics) degree from the University of Manitoba, Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from Mount Allison University.

Lorne graduated from the WCVM in 1994 and, not long after, purchased his first hospital in 1996. In the following years, he explored several management strategies and grew his single doctor hospital into a successful 5-Veterinarian practice. In that time, Lorne developed and taught courses in orthopaedic surgery and ultrasound and created a successful orthopaedic equipment distribution company. Lorne has transitioned to his own hospital twice and consulted on other hospital transitions and owner succession planning. Lorne aided in the start-up of a corporate veterinary consolidating company.
